OH&S: Initial Hazard Identification

Essential Property Services provides clients with an 'Initial Hazard Identification Report.' Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 and Occupation Health and Safety Regulations 2001, including policies guidelines and Australian Standards require that either the building owner, occupier or employer meet specific obligations to ensure a safe work environment (namely, the building and surrounds) exists for employees and visitors alike. An initial hazard identification report assists in providing a safe work environment.

EPS initial hazard identification  reports cover the following hazards:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Building structure
  • Egress:stairs:access
  • Emergency lights
  • Exit signs
  • Fences
  • Fire services
  • Hazardous goods
  • Rubbish
  • Slipping
  • Storage
  • Tripping
  • Vehicular movement

The Initial Hazard Identification Report can be provided as a separate service to our Essential Fire Safety Measures Inspection Reports.
